2017 EDR Summit (formerly the CDR Summit)

For 11 consecutive years, Collision Publishing has hosted the annual CDR Summit. Going forward for 2017, we’ve updated the name and content of the Summit to the “EDR Summit” representing our expansion of topics and discussion in the larger body of EDR technology.

As part of this expansion, this year’s event has been extended to 3 full days of leading expert presentations and activities. The primary focus of the EDR Summit will remain about EDR research, collection and analysis using the Bosch CDR Tool; however, we have expanded the discussion/research topics to other EDR Tools for non-Bosch CDR supported vehicles, heavy duty trucks and autonomous safety systems – the future of in-vehicle data.

Event Data Recorder (EDR)

An Event Data Recorder or EDR is a device or function installed in a vehicle to record information related to crashes or “events.”

Information from these devices can be collected after a crash and analyzed to help determine what the vehicles were doing before, during and after the crash or event.

The EDR Summit brings together professionals from around the world that use crash data stored in various event data recorders for use in the research, collection and analysis of vehicle crash data.

This summit will cover various aspects of EDR data including the tools used to collect it, laws and legislation, case studies and supported vehicles (passenger and heavy duty).

EDR Summit Refund Policy

Refunds are available for paid registrations canceled more than 30 days prior to the start of the event. A $45 processing fee will be charged for each canceled registration. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via US Mail, Fax or email. No tuition refunds are offered less than 30 days before the starting date of the event due to contractual agreements with third party vendors.
